What we build
Hansen Crafted Outdoors is a design-build company focused on complete outdoor living spaces, not just isolated products. We design and construct full backyard transformations that combine pergolas, outdoor kitchens, screening, patios, poolside lounges, firepits, and lighting into one intentional space.
The goal isn't a checklist of features. It's a backyard that quietly does more than you thought possible: shade in the afternoon, dinner in the evening, a lounge at sunset, and a resort-style pool zone that gets used every weekend.
Who a full outdoor living build is for
Full builds fit homeowners who have a backyard that's underperforming (a bare pool deck, a hot patio, an unfinished lanai) and want to fix all of it at once, in a way that feels cohesive. It's also a fit for new construction and full remodels where the outdoor space deserves the same attention as the interior.
Design and material considerations
Florida outdoor spaces have to solve for sun, storms, salt, humidity, and heat all at once. We spec structural systems, decking, paving, screening, appliances, and finishes with Florida's climate in mind, and we plan lighting, drainage, and ventilation from the beginning, not as an afterthought.
Because Audrey leads design and Andrew leads construction, the vision and the build stay tightly connected. There's no gap between "the designer said" and "the builder can't."
How the pieces fit together
Most projects layer pergolas, outdoor kitchens, screening, and patio upgrades into one plan. When it all gets designed and built together, materials, sight lines, lighting, and flow line up in a way that piecemeal projects rarely achieve.
